I'm replying to myself, in hopes the archive's admins are paying attention, to ask how fast they would react and what they would do IF the image ufolawyer had linked to that IS DISPLAYED WITHIN THE ARCHIVE'S PAGE was of child pornography? At the least, the tech crew of the archive should make sure all html is removed from posts.

Steve - as per my previous reply, the matter is being raised with the correct Archive staff as we speak. Rest assured, people are watching, and are aware of the issues.

That's good to know. I've just sent a complaint off to the Archive about Ufolawyer's antics myself. Perhaps if they hear from enough people, they'll take action.

Wait! Don't block all HTML!!! I think that there should be a sort of restriction on remote image linking, or wait. Block all IMG tags and force users to link to the image, but not dispaly it. That is < A HREF=image > but no < IMG SRC=image >s. Hows that? -uniQ PS. I propose a universal IMG block because I have yet to see one instance where a remote image added to a user review in any useful way. Although I have made use of < A HREF > links many times, as other ppl have to link parts of multireel films together.

I don't see a need for html in posts. A few weeks back I posted the url of the list of films by produced date, and href tag was added by the archive's posting script. What else do you need? Italics? Bold? Fonts? Tables? Background colors? I'll stick with plain text and *emphasize* when I NEED to the good _old_ way.

Well you use your fancy script, young feller, I'll keep HREFin' 'till *I* get TOSsed.

I'm not talking about text effects, I mean linking.

Of course, the ironic thing is that UFOlawyer is probably laughing at all the attention this is getting. I doubt Lawyer will respond (or give his email addie)

UFOlawyer is obviously a person with a juvenile mentality . His reactions are of NO importance, His peurile writings had usefulness..We have gained many intelligent opinions and information from the forum members.

True, but it might all be for naught if IA lets these shenanigans continue. These films MUST remain online, but so many of them are breeding grounds for stuff like UFOLs that all of us have to be alert and report trash like this to IA and to the rest of the Prelinger regulars.

PS. His Email addr? Try that AOL one (ttailtimmy@aol.com)

PPS. Hey, I listed his email as a full addr, maybe he'll get spammed >:)

I'm noticing when I go to the movies in question "Naturally a girl" and "As Boys Grow" that his reviews have been removed.

There is a spec for HTML restrictions for the next website. We've had relatively few problems thus far, so the change will wait until then.

I'll agree to that, but I'm willing to go anong with Warburton, those reviews are in, or close enough to merit extreme quibbling, violation of IAs TOS.

Thanks for listening!
